Turn on call protection

Android will ask which app should check incoming calls. Choose Protect & Assist. Unknown callers then never ring this phone: they are handed straight to Protect & Assist, which asks who they are and connects the ones you would want. People saved in your contacts ring normally.

Allow reminders

Medication reminders show up as an alarm with two big buttons: Yes, I took it and Not yet. If nobody answers, Protect & Assist calls the phone instead.

Turn on call forwarding

Your carrier needs to send calls this phone does not take to Protect & Assist. The app can dial the code for you.
